President, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Bidya Devi Bhandari, has sent a message to H.E. Michel Aoun, President of the Republic of Lebanon today expressing deep sadness on the loss of lives and the destruction of properties by massive explosion in Beirut.
In her message, the Rt. Hon. President has extended heartfelt condolences, deep sympathies and solidarity to the President, the bereaved family members as well as the Government and people of Lebanon at this hour of tragedy and wished for speedy recovery of those injured. She has also expressed confidence that the ongoing rescue efforts will be successful and the situation will return to normality at the earliest.
